Timeline:
6:20 am: Set Up Crew Begins Set Up, Early Gate Keepers Arrive
6:35 am: Age Group Parents Check In
6:45 am: Age Group Parents Ready to Check Swimmers In
6:50 am: Swimmers and All Other Volunteers Arrive and Check In
7:05-7:25 am: Circle C Warm-up (BE THERE or scratched from relays)
7:25-7:45 am: Western Oaks and Texas School for the Deaf Warm Up
7:30 am: Volunteer Meetings (see below)
7:50 am: First call to Ready Bench.
7:55 am: National Anthem – Ryan (violin) and Rohan (viola) Dharwadker
8:00 am: Meet Begins.
11:00 am: Approx time for shift change and break – between events 26 and 27 – time permitting there will be parent/coach relays (see note below!)
1:00 pm: Meet Ends.
Please note some volunteer positions (e.g. Set-Up and Age Group Parent) will require you to arrive prior to warm-up's. Look for information from the Head Parent in an email to volunteers.
VOLUNTEER MEETINGS: 30 mins before scheduled Meet Start Time.
Timers: Meet under the timer tents
Stroke and Turn Judges: Meet under blue umbrellas near concessions on deck area
Ready Bench: Meet at the Ready Bench on the southeast side of the pool
Runners: Meet by computer awning (located on the parking lot gate or south side of the pool)
We expect approximately 450 swimmers from 3 different swim clubs. Please watch for weather alerts the morning of the event and arrive early to get organized.
Parent/Coach Relays: Message from Jeff Grosso: Assuming the meet runs on time, in keeping with this season’s ‘fun’ theme we are going to introduce something different this meet between the 2 halves – the S.E.A.L Parent Relay……The Seriously Entertaining And Laughable Parent relay that is. First Event: Assemble your 4 person relay team and come prepared to show your kids HOW FUN IS DONE - ride your inflatable Seal, Dolphin (WO), Horse (TSD) to glorious victory! [We have enough floats for plenty of teams, so don't be shy about joining in!!]

Volunteer Check In: If you are volunteering, please sign in with the volunteer coordinator upon arrival If you do not sign in you may not get credit for volunteer points.
Allergy Alert: If your child has a severe allergy please ensure you have appropriate medication (e.g. Epi-Pen) on hand and inform the Age Group parents. We are often in grasses or parking lots during meets. If you child has a bee, fire ant or other insect allergy please come prepared.
We have children with severe nut allergies and ask families to help us be a Peanut and Tree Nut free team. Please refrain from bringing food containing nuts to the swim meets. Children hang out in Age Group tents and contact may be unavoidable. Nutella contains nuts.
